Hi, I’m Tarsh, Director – Little Kindy Tatura

I’m incredibly proud to lead the team at Little Kindy Tatura  as Centre Director. With over 6 years of hands-on experience in the early childhood education sector, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of roles that have shaped me into the leader and educator I am today.

I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and am currently studying towards my Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education, with just 10 months to go! My journey so far has been filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable moments shared with children, families, and educators.

As Director, I see myself as the heartbeat of the centre, leading by example, nurturing a strong and inclusive culture, and creating a space where children, families, and educators feel respected, empowered, and supported. I wish to create an environment which has children feeling a sense of belonging, agency in their learning, where educators are encouraged and inspired to grow professionally and families are actively involved and feel heard and respected and supported. I wish to build on those strong partnerships with families and ensure we are meeting their needs and the needs and interest of every child. We wish to oversee the right of every child. Create meaningful curriculums and programs which ensure we meet the developmental needs of each child.

I believe that early childhood is the foundation of a child’s lifelong learning journey. These years are not just preparation for school they are vital in shaping how children see themselves, others, and the world around them.

I believe in honour each child’s individuality, voice, and pace of development. My philosophy is grounded in, play-based, child-led learning that reflects children’s interests and natural curiosity. Creating an environment where children feel safe to explore, take risks, express themselves, and grow into confident learners. Having strong, secure relationships between children, educators, and families.
